This trek takes you through lush forests, terraced fields, traditional villages, and dramatic glaciers culminating in a breathtaking view of the mighty Annapurna massif. The trek leads right into the frozen heart of Annapurna Range, a magnificent arena of rock and ice on a magical realm.

Set against a curtain of majestic Himalayan peaks, you can see the mountains from the very first day in Pokhara which offers a distinctive view of Machapuchre (Mt.Fishtail).Apart from the breathtaking natural beauty, immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage and ways of life of the Magar and Gurung communities.

The Annapurna range is one of the most famous and accessible trekking destinations in Nepal and was first explored by Westerners in the 1950s. The trek to Annapurna Base Camp was opened to tourists in the 1970s and has since become one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal, attracting thousands of tourists each year. Annapurna Base Camp is found in central Nepal, in the Annapurna Conservation Area. It is approximately 140 km northwest of Kathmandu.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek starts in the tranquil town of Naya Pul and takes you into a mountain paradise for photographers, artists, and nature lovers. The trail conditions are generally well-maintained, although there are some steep and rocky sections that can be challenging, especially at high altitude.  Along the way, you will pass by waterfalls, hot springs, and glaciers, and have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, birds, and even the occasional Himalayan tahr. The highlight of the trek is the view of the Annapurna massif, including Annapurna South, I, Annapurna III,Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), which are all over 7000 meters in height.
